The road side eateries are sinfully fun. During my childhood, I did not have much of outside junk food. The reason was limited or no pocket money. I fulfill those wishes when I have grown up.

The way the food set-up, the hygine can certainly be doubted. Summer time and Golawalas are a welcome site. Crushed ice flavored with orange, kalkhatta etc. The same stuff is sold in malls in sopisticated machines and are termed as slush (I think so). The slush cost a lot more.

I do prefer the chamach golas (crushed ice in small glass) or golas on a stick. There is more fun in slurping the melting ice!
