The Rain

I love the rain.
The overcast sky, the raindrops and the thunder
Yes the thundering of the sky when I was a child
I loved that
When the sky thundered, I hid behind my father

And although he didn’t say anything
The touch reassured me
And then it rained with the wind blowing
and everything was cold, the rain, the wind, everything

It rains here too
And then it thunders often and I go back when I was a child
Then I love the rain, again.
