Hazy Mountains!

At the start of 2009, I along with some friends went on a trekking trip to Dalhousie. 4 days of walking on the mountains. It remains a very memorable trip at the start of the year and which set the precedence for many trips in this year.

At Khajjiar the place we stayed was not so good. Adding to the misery, the snow falling the whole night just added to the cold misery. In the night, except the place we stayed in and a far away hotel, the whole place was engulfed in darkness.

As the sun rose from the east and lights trickled, the snow covered mountains slowly started becoming visible. The red tinge of the rising sun, the snow covered mountains and the dark clouds.
