Mumbai generates 7500 tones of garbage in a day. That is lots of garbage for a place which is running out of space. Garbage is dumped in 3 landfills or dumping ground in and near Mumbai. One of them is Gorai which is quite close to where I live. The Gorai creek which was once quite clean is just a stinking big pond.

We are really experts in screwing and destroying things.

This small hillock is found near Gorai creek where land mover machines work to level the small. hill which in fact is actual garbage that is generated by Mumbai. The extent of the amount of garbage is so big that it actually becomes a small hillock.

When will we learn waste management better before this turns out to be a huge catastrophe?
