Bhoot????

In Uttarkashi, we stayed at a wonderful hotel overlooking the River Bhagirathi. The mood of the hotel was informal with books kept in hallway and stairs, food prepared on order and a comfortable, clean room and to make it the perfect place, it was very economical.

We got two rooms which had a single door. Cool breeze flowed from the windows. We sat on the spacious balcony outside our room. Vijay and Raju were exhausted and fell asleep.

Mathew and I sat there enjoying the cool breeze. In our room, hung a painting made on bamboo mattress. The painting was of a traditional Indian woman holding an oil lamb in her hand. She was shielding the flame from wind. The black background was making the painting haunting. The life like size and the really good painting made it more realistic.

Mathew took this photo as I sat before the window and If I don’t explain it, it surely would look haunted. I guess I can send this photo to everybody and make a story out of it. We shot many pictures for the next 30-45 minutes but only a few turned out good as if the painting did not want itself to be photographed?

Was it really haunted? Or Am I messing with your mind?
