Give me a Hi 5!!
Long time back in Amsterdam, we had some really tough time in the project. Nothing seems to work out. My colleagues and I along with my Project Manager would stay late nights trying to complete and find a solution. But the hurdles were many.
We were the only one in the building and the security guard had to stay back because of us. One day when we were really frustrated about the problems and no solution, I went out for a stroll. I found a photocopying machine at the end of lobby. The machine was silent having worked the whole day.
I don’t know what happened, I put my palm against the glass and took a photo copy of my hand. I pinned the paper on the white board and wrote “Give me a Hi5”. I went home late that night and came a little late to the office. As I sat on my chair all frustrated, sleepy and tired, a Dutch colleague walked up to me and said
“Hey! give me a High 5”
I raised my hand and he gave a big clap and then walked away to his table just like that!
And I, just smiled!
