152 – Wind Power

The highest point in Netherlands is Vaalserberg bordering Belgium and Germany. It stands at a height of 1059 feet in height. In short there is almost nothing to obstruct the strong sea winds which gives Netherlands a unique opportunity to harness the wind energy.

Windmills have become quite synonymous with Netherlands and a number of Traditional and modern windmills are found in and around Netherlands. One such unique tourist spot is Kinderdijk.
