I have always wondered how crabs are found in the mountains. I do agree if there is a lake of pond near-by but high up in the mountains seems a mystery.

This is a male crab and can be recognized by the V-shape below its body. The female crab has a U-shape to keep the eggs. The Female crab carries the egg around
