Although I first cooked when I was around 13-14 years old, I started full-fledged cooking when I stayed alone in Amsterdam. The reason I learned cooking when I was small was my dad was a horrible cook and in mom’s absence we were tortured with Dad’s new method of cooking.
I was not a good cook when I was small. In Amsterdam, I stayed with Vijay and his family and learned my cooking skills under him. Vijay loves to cook and he made it really look enjoyable.
I became a fairly good cook in the three years I stayed there but I have to admit that I haven’t cooked much since coming back to Mumbai.
The above is my food for my Tiffin in office. We spent a considerable time cooking and took the left over to office next day. It was certainly better than the cold sandwich in the canteen
