335 – The Cycle and the Sparrow

In my childhood, my mother told us the story of chiu (sparrow) and kau (Crow) who built their nest made of different building material. I am not sure what they used but the sparrow’s nest survived in heavy rain while crow’s was washed away. There was a moral of the story. I am sure about that.

Looking at those sparrows and crows, my imagination ran wild that they actually talked to each other. Now with concrete building all over I see crows around but very less sparrows. Still some do visit the balcony once in a while and sit on the grills next to my cycle.
