St Sebestian Church in Thokkupara, 11 kilometers from Munnar is an important pilgrimage center. Its also supposedly the location of the largest statue of Jesus lying on Mother Mary’s lap.

We saw this statue coming back from Munnar. Going near we realized the enormity of the statue. The coconut tree in the background forms the natural holy glow for Mother Mary.
