Tadoba does not have any elephant population, atleast not in the wild. However we did see some elephants in chains maybe used by the park staff.

When we entered the park one morning, we saw the elephants walking down toward us. there were some cars in front of us. I could imagine a wonderful picture where the elephants came in the horizon with a cloud of dust behind them.

It looked impossible getting a shot from between the jeeps in front on a moving jeep and suddenly our driver took to the right side of the road giving me a clear shot. A few seconds and the magic is lost.

I guess I just made it in time.
