Ganesh Festival was about people coming together.

Over the years it has been a play ground for politicians to prove their power. People started bringing bigger idols, jazzy decorations and big spending. It was like my idol bigger than yours

I met this man during the visarjan when he walked with just one friend of his carrying a small idol.

No loud music, no show off and a very calm face.

When he saw clicking his photo, he stopped. Allowed me to click another one, smiled, nodded and walked away.

I guess that what festivals were meant to be.
