Parenting is a on the job training. You learn to be a father, mother.

Of course, the emotions are all real. That cannot be taught nor can they be developed. They are born with your child.

But with the boy comes tons of advice and suggestion from your family and friends. Some genuine, some myths, some illogical and mostly passed over from generations.

Amu and me had this conflict of separating myths from reality. I have fought with my relatives over some of them and just refused to do it for my daughter just because my logical mind does not agree for it.  I googled every suggestion before actually using it.

And Yes! Sometimes I did implement it because no matter how illogical it seems, I don’t want my daughter to suffer because of my stubbornness.

I guess superstitions are born this way!
