Milestones are like results. Happy when they are on time and worried when the baby does not reaches those.

The first comparison and competition in a human’s life starts from a small age with milestones.

So and so’s daughter or son is walking now but my daughter is not running yet.

Yes! The milestones have to be monitored. It would tell us how our son and daughter is doing in terms of learning and alarm needs to be raised in extreme conditions. But then each child is developing at its own pace. The more you let it be the more it learns by itself. A helping hand here and there does help but don’t make it a competition.

For now enjoy her growing up because this you will never again see in your life!
