2165–The Daughter Turns One–6–Alert Nights

The daughter turns one and looking back at our and her journey together

When Amaya was born, she would wake up for her feed. Amu was the one who would wake up most of the time. I would open my eyes and see Amu in control and then drift back to sleep.

Doctors say as the children get older, the sleep pattern evolve.

They sleep for longer hours but that does not mean that we sleep without a hitch.

No matter what the doctor says, Parents develop an alert sleep pattern. A slight sound and they are awake.

First we use to get and light would be switched on to see what was happening. Now we know most of the time that a tapping her gently would do the trick.
